SACA is looking for an experienced Head of Female Pathways to join our Cricket team. The Head of Female Pathways will advocate for and advance women's cricket across the state, focusing on talent development and creating a premier pathway for aspiring female athletes. This includes connecting the various segments of female cricket, from grassroots initiatives to Premier Cricket and the professional level. The Head of Female Pathways will be responsible for implementing the next phase of female high-performance development and collaborating with the female cricket network to ensure long-term success. Key responsibilities: Leadership Work with key stakeholders to strengthen and grow the female pathway from Premier Cricket Programs to State Based Programs. Drive active participation in SACA's development process for Cricket Department employees in the female program. Maintain a strong and open relationship with former female players and staff. Work collaboratively with all SACA, Cricket Australia and Australian Cricket stakeholders. Program Development Manage the Female Pathway programs to ensure we continue to develop our future generations of talented players. Deliver on and influence the achievement of SACA's strategy for the female pathway. Work closely with the SACA Community and Premier Cricket departments to develop a stronger and development pathway for aspiring young female athletes. Manage and advise the Premier Cricket Committee's Women's Sub-Committee to drive change and growth in the game at Club level. Ensure that there are obvious steps for young players to progress in the game from club cricket towards professional level. Embed the SACA values throughout the pathway programs. In conjunction with the relevant program coaches and PDM, create development plans to help fast track future female talent identified from our emerging pathway programs. Proactively identify opportunities to improve the pathway programs, including how cricket can learn from other sports to drive best practice. National Development Programs Support the SACA Women's and Girl's Pathway aligned with the Cricket Australia Women and Girls Action Plan. In conjunction with SACA and CA Cricket Performance staff, support the identification, coordination and delivery of national development programs. You will hold a valid Working with Children Check or have the ability to obtain one.
