Job Title: Chef de Partie
The Dubliner Restaurant & Bar is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team. This role is located in the heart of Mornington.
About this Role:
We are looking for an individual with 2+ years' experience working across various cuisines, who can effectively communicate and remain calm under pressure.
* Assist with the day-to-day running of the kitchen and ensure food safety requirements are met.
* Maintain presentation standards and ensure all Front of House and kitchen staff understand these expectations.
* Liaise with the management team for smooth restaurant operations and best practices for serving customers.
* Organize and manage kitchen supplies, ensuring the use of high-quality produce and necessary culinary items.
This role may involve supervising, training, and coordinating other kitchen staff.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Ability to oversee kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef, maintaining stringent hygiene regulations.
* Executing all menu items and implementing necessary changes or adjustments to food preparation.
* Knowledge of seafood preparation and presentation.
* Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and dedication to producing quality cuisine to a consistent high standard.
* Certificate 4 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
* 2+ years of experience in a high-quality, fast-paced restaurant environment.
