Plant & Machinery Operators (Construction) We are seeking an experienced HDD Driller and Tracker to join our dynamic team at AVDHUT PTY LTD in Adelaide, SA. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) equipment to install underground utility pipelines and cables. What you'll be doing Operate HDD rigs and ancillary equipment to drill, ream and pull back underground utility pipelines and cables Perform accurate tracking and steering of the drill head to ensure precise placement of the installed utilities Conduct routine maintenance and pre-start checks on all HDD equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety Contribute to the development of job plans and risk assessments to support safe work practices Work collaboratively with the wider construction team to deliver projects on time and to the required quality standards What we're looking for Minimum 3 years' experience operating HDD rigs and associated equipment Strong understanding of HDD techniques and procedures, including drilling, reaming and pullback operations Proficient in the use of HDD tracking and steering systems to ensure accurate placement of utilities Ability to interpret job plans, technical drawings and site conditions to execute work effectively Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Relevant construction industry qualifications, including a White Card and HDD-specific training Current driver's licence What we offer Competitive salary and bonus structure Ongoing training and development opportunities Access to the latest HDD equipment and technology Supportive team environment and career progression prospects Comprehensive health and safety policies to ensure your wellbeing FIFO UTE About us AVDHUT PTY LTD is a leading provider of horizontal directional drilling services in South Australia.
