In your new role with us, you will:
1. Carry out stocktaking of raw materials and other stocks
2. Work with dispatch and drivers to achieve efficient starting, finishing, and meal & rest times for drivers
3. Maintain the yard
4. Operating a Front End Loader to organise waste
5. Organising and liaising with allocations regarding raw material deliveries
6. Minor plant maintenance
7. Operating the plant
8. Balance our customers’ needs and allocation of fleet through effective planning and decision making to ensure maximum fleet productivity, utilisation and efficiency
9. Engage with customers and respond to enquiries
10. Manage and monitor orders to ensure delivery and products meet quality requirements
This role is a great fit for you if you:
11. Are a Motivated Individual that takes initiative – required for maintaining the yard and plant
12. Eagerness to learn about all details relating to concrete plant operation and plant maintenance
13. Physically able to complete manual labour where required
14. Mechanical knowledge will be highly regarded
15. Works well with a small team
16. Are a team player who can multi-task and make quick effective decisions under pressure
17. Are a natural problem solver and enjoy planning and troubleshooting
