Role Overview
The Clinical Practice Facilitator is a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife who works collaboratively with industry, permanent and sessional staff to support the nursing and midwifery clinical skills development of entry-to-practice nursing students.
Reporting to the Clinical Practice Manager, the Clinical Practice Facilitator has a key role in certifying all students enrolled in all entry to practice courses within the School of Nursing and Midwifery can demonstrate competence in clinical skills. The role supports teaching and assessment by certifying that clinical skills can be demonstrated in workshops for all practicum units, inclusive of low-high fidelity simulation activities, as well as providing the site-based clinical facilitation and supervision of students while undertaking clinical placement.
The School of Nursing and Midwifery provides a comprehensive range of academic programs to prepare health professionals for positions in nursing and midwifery. The School has a commitment to developing strong partnerships locally, nationally, and internationally through its collaboration with health professions, industry, and the broader community.
Applicants should please note they will be required to travel to and work from various metropolitan health sites, as their ordinary place of work to visit students on practicum.

Benefits & Remuneration
This permanent, ongoing position attracts a salary of $100,512 to $112,622 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
