Our client Samsung is a worldwide well-known and highly respected brand in the electronics industry. With expansion to their business, there is an opportunity for a Retail Execution Manager to join the Sydney team.
About the role:
The position will be responsible for providing support to retail visual merchandising projects, focusing especially on displays, POS and in store communications. This role includes managing and organising cross functional teams within the Samsung business, retailers and third party agencies. Projects will cover a range of retail programs including shop displays, visual merchandising, POS and category program activations both in store and assisting in external events.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Lead the delivery and installation of retail shop POS and VM across the CE business from communications structure, concept, design, and installation. Ensure all branded fixtures and products have the correct POS and VM principles applied, representative of the Samsung Brand in store and are agreed by the business
2. Ensure that the Samsung brand is front and centre through retail activations, alignment with Samsung Brand Guidelines and HQ prioritisation of projects.
3. Own the relationship with the field team by being the key point of contact for all field related issues and owning all field communication for retail programs.
4. Assist Retail Programs Manager in completing analysis & reports, includes retail health checks, fixture auditing, retail mapping, weekly progress report, prep for HQ visits
5. Work closely with the Retail Programs manager to understand key shopper and consumer research and ensure this is the basis for all retail programs
6. Own budget management to ensure retail projects and are delivered on budget and on time while navigating all Samsung financial and approval processes.
About You:
7. Minimum 4+ years’ experience in a Retail focused role, in an retail design agency, advertising agency or marketing function within a brand environment
8. Experience in the sales environment in a field team of retail operations would be considered
9. Excel and or project management or planogram software knowledge highly regarded
10. Strong understanding of project management
11. Strong retail understanding of opportunities and barriers within the in store environment
