You will be responsible for
:
* Providing initial and ongoing treatment of injuries and illness of personnel on site including assisting with injury management and rehabilitation
* Operation of the Site’s ambulances including the management and transportation of injured personnel
* Developing and maintaining treatment procedures, protocols and accident/incident databases;
* Liaising with local medical service providers, hospitals, RFDS and ambulance service
* Provide skills maintenance training to Emergency Response Team members
* Conducting drug and alcohol testing as required
About You
This role would suit a motivated health professional looking for an opportunity to support and educate people in site health and safety. You will also have:
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, Immunisation Certificate and HLTPAT005 Drugs of Abuse Testing
* Current & Valid C class manual Driver’s Licence
* Previous experience working in emergency or in a remote area nursing role
* A working knowledge of Injury Management and Rehabilitation practices and procedures
* Ability to work autonomously to align with site medical guidelines
* Approved Audiometric Officers Certificate and the ability to conduct spirometry testing (Desirable)
