About the Role
We’re looking for casual Disability Support Workers in Maryborough. Shifts are available in the early mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnight sleepovers, and active awake hours.
Our team is expanding to provide a variety of services, including Supported Independent Living (SIL), in-home support, and community access.
In this role, you’ll assist individuals with various disabilities, prioritise tasks, and foster a supportive environment that promotes independence and personal growth. If you’re passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives, we’d be excited to welcome you to our team!
Other responsibilities may include:
* Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
* Assist with mobility and physical support, including transferring and positioning.
* Performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and managing laundry.
* Providing companionship and emotional support.
* Maintain accurate records of support provided, including progress notes and incident reports.

What we are looking for:
* Experience in disability supportor a related field (preferred)
* Flexible availability for AM or PM shifts
Requirements
The successful applicant will have or be willing to obtain;
* Valid drivers licence (P2 or open)
* CPR and First Aid certificate
* NDIS worker screening clearance (yellow card)
* Working with Children Check (blue card)
* NDIS orientation module certificate
