We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our team located in Warrnambool, Victoria. This role is ideal for a junior accountant who is ready to take the next step in their career!
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Management and Financial Information Aid in the timely and accurate production of management reports including commentary for the various business units, analysis on sales, inventory, pricing and costing variations, material usage.Help with the reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts including, but not limited to inventory and fixed assets across the Group.Working with existing systems, you will have the opportunity to develop and improve the current reporting and analysis that is being produced.Assist with the completion of Operational/CapEx budget and assist the team as required.Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.Revenue Generation Investigate revenue-generating / cost-saving opportunities, and CapEx initiatives, analyze potential ROI and pursue/action where appropriate.Monitor revenue/cost and margin targets.Investigate new or more effective business processes and effective and efficient utilization of technology.Adherence to Legislation, Policies and Procedures Help to develop and maintain financial policy, standards and procedures documentation.Help develop and maintain standard work instructions for standard tasks within the finance department.Conduct and monitor reviews to ensure procedures are adhered to.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Exposure to MRP systems.Excellent time management and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Highly motivated, self-driven, energetic, results-driven, and goal-oriented.Ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.Ability to learn and proceduralize various standards tasks performed by other members of the finance team.Weekly reporting.Review and report on the monthly business activity including KPI's.High level of professionalism, confidentiality, integrity, and ethical behavior always demonstrated.Critical issues and business risks to be communicated on time.Tertiary qualifications in appropriate fields e.g. Finance, Commerce, or Business.CPA or CA Qualified or nearly qualified.Current Australian Drivers' License.WHY JOIN US?
