About the Opportunity
Civeo Australia are looking for experienced FIFO Sous Chefs (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or trade certificate) to work closely with the Head Chefs to deliver exceptional food to our Villages across WA. The primary focus of the role is to ensure a smooth and profitable kitchen operation for the village. This is a fly-in-fly-out role (FIFO) departing from Perth on 2/1 rosters.

About You
8. 3+ years’ cumulative chef experience, working in a remote village environment (FIFO or DIDO)
9. 2+ years’ experience supervising and managing of a team of chefs to deliver a smooth service
10. Strong experience in a bulk/batch cooking environment.
11. Ordering, profit and wastage reporting
12. Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or Trade certificate.
13. Applied knowledge of HACCP principles in a bulk cooking environment
14. Ability to help create service schedules on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
15. Applied knowledge of workplace safety systems and compliance requirements
16. Able to work nightshift where required
17. Intermediate skills with regards to Microsoft Office applications
18. Knowledge of relevant kitchen chemicals, including their application and storage.
19. You must have a valid manual driver’s licence (Class C).
