Our modern and elegant care home is designed to provide a comfortable and supportive environment for residents. Located on two hectares of land in a quiet suburb just 5km west of Toowoomba's town centre, it offers a fulfilling workplace for passionate professionals.
About the Role
As Care Manager, you will be a key leader within the home, working closely with a dedicated clinical team. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee the delivery of person-centred care, ensuring high standards of clinical governance, assessment, and care planning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily clinical operations of the care home.
* Lead and support the clinical team, including mentoring, staff allocations, performance management, and education.
* Review clinical incidents, complaints, and changes to ensure continuous improvement.
* Manage compliance with AN-ACC assessments.
* Develop and oversee person-centred care planning and evaluations, including case conferencing with families and carers.
* Conduct clinical governance audits.
* Oversee medication management in line with resident needs and legislative requirements.
* Collaborate with allied health professionals, medical practitioners, and other service providers to ensure optimal resident care.

Requirements:
* Right to work in Australia.
* Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration (essential).
* Postgraduate qualifications in aged care (highly regarded).
* Experience managing a minimum of 30 beds.
* Proven ability to deliver high-quality clinical care within aged care or an acute setting.
* Strong clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilities.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
* Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes.
