About the Role
A brand new Melbourne based opportunity for an experienced Relationship Executive has become available with BOQ Specialist! This Relationship Executive role is to originate, retain and manage a portfolio of clients for either the Corporate Health or Property segment ($10M+) depending on the expertise of the banker. This new Relationship Executive role will originally manage an empty customer book and will be responsible for building up their customer base through business development and relationship management.
As the Relationship Executive in our Commercial team, your responsibilities will include:
1. Promote our commercial product offering to core clients to determine financial situation and objectives, discussing options for the client and developing tailored solutions
2. Consistently meet and/or exceed individual margin and volume targets and performance objectives with a strong focus on book growth
3. The Specialist plays a key role in driving the direction and performance including client acquisition, volume/margin, and primary client relationship and satisfaction
4. Partner with the Associate Relationship Manager to develop ongoing and quality client relationships
5. Manage relationships with clients leveraging and aligning internal resources to maximise client satisfaction and retention
6. In conjunction with clients’ accountants, proactively work with clients to understand financial objectives and help implementing plans to realise these objectives
About you
As the successful candidate for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
7. Previous experience in commercial lending, working on larger more complex deals
8. Previous experience in business development and relationship building
9. Experience in either the Health or Property commercial banking industry
10. A passion for business development and relationship building
11. Tertiary education desirable
12. Ability to meet KPI targets
