Benesse Busselton is looking for an experienced CHEF or SOUS CHEF to join our BUSSELTON cafe.You will be a part of a dynamic team and passionate about delivering beautifully plated, top-quality food in a stylish and busy cafe!About the BusinessBenesse has been a reputable and iconic South-West destination for locals and tourists.With three stylish and thriving venues in Australind, Bunbury and Busselton - Benesse is known for its fast, friendly service and delicious, carefully plated and innovative food.Since opening in October 2023, Benesse Busselton has been thriving.You will be part of a hardworking team passionate about delivering top-quality food ensuring flavour, creativity and taste are the backbones of every creation.You must have prior experience in a high-volume breakfast and lunch service kitchen.About the RoleResponsibilities will include but are not limited to:Fast and efficient breakfast and lunch service, ensuring plating is consistent and to the high standard that Benesse setsMaintain a clean, hygienic and organised work environmentDemonstrate techniques and knowledge on cooking proceduresTake a proactive approach to ensuring kitchen runs smoothly and all daily tasks are completedLiaise with the front of house team to ensure service runs smoothlyAdhere to and ensure all daily and weekly cleaning tasks are completedRoutinely discuss food preparation or service issues with Head Chef, Kitchen Team and Front of House TeamAbout YouSuccessful candidates will need:Minimum qualification of Certificate 3, 4 or Diploma in Commercial CookeryA minimum of 2 years experience in a high-volume venue of similar styleFood Handlers Supervisor Certificate or willingness to obtainAbility to work well in a team and communicate effectivelyAble to work well under pressure and stay calm in a fast-paced work environmentOnly shortlisted applicants will be contacted.#J-18808-Ljbffr
