Registered Nurse | RN | Aged Care | Warrigal Multicultural Village
It takes a rare person to care the way you do. To be there, day in and out, bringing older people the joy, dignity, and belonging they deserve.
You are the difference in their lives and deserve every opportunity to be recognised, supported, and challenged to fulfill your role in the world.
But what does this look like?
The opportunity | A role where you are looked up to
As a Registered Nurse, you do not just look after residents. You are respected as the expert and looked on to lead the way, setting high standards in clinical and compassionate care. Our residents and carers look up to you, follow your lead, and trust your decisions.
Recognising your value
* Part-time Position 32 hours PW - Night Shift - Saturday to Tuesday
* Highly competitive hourly rates, penalty rates for nights and weekends, and NFP salary packaging - pay up to $18,550 less tax per year, meaning more money for you
* A fantastic onboarding program, ongoing support, and mentoring from clinical educators
* A community that values your career and invests in your growth
* Access to your local gym and 200+ more across the country with a Fitness Passport

What it takes to do this work
No matter your role, it takes a real love of caring, a willingness to jump in and do the work, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
As a nurse, you will also need:
* A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Clinical leadership skills and knowledge
* Availability/flexibility to cover night shifts occasionally (a bonus, but is not a dealbreaker)
* Knowledge of legislation that affects aged care services
* Resourceful, respectful, and passionate, with a love for sharing knowledge and mentoring team members
* A second language would be a bonus, but is not a dealbreaker
The location

Hosting a mixture of modern indoor and outdoor (garden-facing) rooms with beautiful garden views, residents can feel safe and supported, connected to their friends and family while being taken care of in a friendly environment.
What our nurses love about working here
Opportunities to get ahead: Develop broader holistic care skills across physical, mental, and social wellbeing. Further train, qualify, specialise or take on early leadership roles. With job transfers and promotions on offer, you’ll get ahead in ways that set you apart in the industry.
Better life balance: We respect your life outside of your job, and work with you to design schedules that help you plan your study, family, and personal commitments around better, steadier rosters.
A community to come home to: We stand by each other, listen without judgement, and have relationships built on friendliness, respect, and support – with our customers, residents, their families, and our team of local and international talent. No matter how far from home you are, you’ll feel like you belong.
A focus on care, not profits: As a for-purpose organisation, we put everything back into the business. That means you can focus on creating the best possible experience for our residents and have a meaningful impact in the local community, instead of filling investor pockets. There is no greater purpose.
A community who cares: Warrigal has firmly established itself in the aged care community for over 60 years. Despite the diverse range of retirement living and aged care services we’ve built up in that time, we still have the same appetite to grow and innovate. Meaning, you’ll have the chance to move around, get promoted or explore different areas across our expanding business in Illawarra, Southern Highlands, Queanbeyan, and Canberra – if that’s what you want.
You are the difference: At Warrigal, you’re not just doing care work. You’re reshaping a society that respects and celebrates ageing, connects families, and frees up their time to create treasured, lasting memories. You’re creating a culture of kindness, compassion, and understanding that can be passed down to future generations. Let this be your legacy.
