Job Overview
This position entails a comprehensive set of Medical Assistant duties, ensuring seamless unit operations and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Facilitates smooth patient flow management.
* Performs all front desk duties specific to the department, including scheduling patients, collecting and verifying patient payor information, and other essential documentation tasks.
Additional Tasks
* Executes additional duties as assigned by management.
* Maintains strict compliance with established policies and standards.
* Refers to provided documentation for specific duties and responsibilities during orientation.
* Ensures adherence to all requirements for safely and securely maintaining Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training and UH Code of Conduct are in place to address appropriate PHI usage in the workplace.
