About the Role
As an Accounts Receivable and Payroll Officer, you’ll take charge of end-to-end Accounts Receivable and Payroll functions, contributing significantly to the company’s financial health. Your responsibilities will include:
* Accounts Receivable: Oversee the full cycle of accounts receivable, including high volume invoice processing using software like Xero and Traffio. You’ll also support accounts receivable activities across multiple depots.
* Payroll Processing: Manage weekly payroll from start to finish, handling Child Support payments, Payroll Tax, Salary Sacrifice, and Super contributions.
* Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis for the CEO.
* Staff Reimbursements: Prepare payroll runs for staff reimbursements, ensuring precise and timely payments.
* Client Communication: Build and maintain client relationships, addressing inquiries promptly to ensure smooth transactions.
* Administrative Support: Maintain meticulous records and perform general administration tasks to support operational flow.

About You
You’re a proactive, detail oriented finance professional who can seamlessly manage both team collaboration and individual tasks. You bring:
* Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Transport
* Accounting Software Expertise: Familiarity with Xero or MYOB is preferred.
* Meticulous Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and precision in all processes.
* Hands On Approach: Ready to take initiative when required.
* Excellent Time Management and Communication Skills
* Payroll Knowledge: Understanding of Child Support, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation contributions.
* Team Oriented and Independent: Capable of working collaboratively or independently on projects.
* Values and Compliance Focused: Commitment to organisational values, policies, and Occupational Health and Safety standards.
