The role:We are currently seeking a Manager to join our Restructuring and Risk Advisory team. This role takes responsibility for the control of assigned engagements and ensures the successful completion by utilising technical competence and required resources. The successful candidate will have proven analytical skills and judgement to be able to define problems, break them down into component parts and goals, conduct research, and deliver high standard results based on systematic and rational decisions.Reporting to our Restructuring and Risk advisory Partner, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve: •Strong prior restructuring and turnaround experience, and previous experience working providing advice to clients on matters of financial performance, operational restructuring, or financial management•A developed understanding of large formal insolvencies (Receiverships, Voluntary Administrations, Liquidations) and/or restructuring/turnaround matters•Manage a team of people to the highest standards of technical and administrative requirements by utilising team skills effectively and by developing staff and in doing so elevating team competence and measurable productivity.•Contribute to the firm’s business development through expanding existing client relationships (e.g. interdivisional cross-selling), through client acquisition, and by performing strategic activities (e.g. marketing). .•Ensure the effective utilisation of staff resources to achieve budgeted levels of productivity at all levels of staff as well asperforming the full range of staff management tasks for all team members. •Ensure staff are equipped to provide the quality and type of service the organisation is aiming to achieve and constantly provide opportunities for development and growth.•Create opportunities and conditions to improve organisational efficiency by driving the refinement of existing practices & processes and by contributing to the implementation of new initiatives/policies/procedures.To be successful you will have:•Around 7 years’ experience including significant experience in a Restructuring, Risk & Insolvency environment•Demonstrated technical and practical experience to be responsible for servicing clients •At least 2 years supervisory experience•Strong project management skills and ability to perform under pressure•Exceptional communicator, with methodical problem-solving abilities•You act with integrity and show care for the people you work withWhat we offer:Our culture reflects our dedication to training & development, career opportunities and employee & life wellbeing.
