About Your Role
You will play a vital role working on customer service field tasks across potentially all nbn technologies. This is an autonomous role where you will be responsible for installation, repair and maintenance of nbn products and services.
You'll have the opportunity to work in multiple environments both internal and external but predominantly inside the customer's premises. A typical day could include any or all of the following functions while delivering exceptional customer service:
* Cabling installation (copper and fibre) including jointing, jumpering and splicing
* Customer premises installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)
* Fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and nbn CPE
Your Skills and Qualifications
We're seeking experienced candidates with HFC experience, as well as those with transferable skills from a communication cabling background who are keen to explore a career in the telco sector.
A large part of this role is working in customers' premises, so it will also be important you have exceptional customer service skills and can display honesty and integrity while being self-managed and motivated.
We will also be looking for a current and clean Driver's License and strong and personable communication skills, both written and verbal.
