About Our Client
Michael Page is currently working with a client side asset management firm responsible for a number of new infrastructure assets in Greater Sydney. With the assets transitioning into their next phase of life cycle management, they are now looking to hire an experienced Reliability and Asset Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Job Description
This role will focus on the strategy of the individual asset groups across the assets and overseeing and supervising the works conducted by the engaged contractor.
The Successful Applicant
In order to be successful in this role, it is expected you will have:
1. Asset management knowledge - preferably from working client side - focused on strategy and life cycle cost models on infrastructure or linear infrastructure related assets.
2. Reliability engineering experience - qualifications not required, but experience in this area is preferred.
3. Asset class knowledge - mechanical/electrical equipment knowledge - preferably you have had experience managing multiple asset classes during your career.
4. Project management skills - with a major capital expenditure model of over $600m to be spent in the next 20 years, ideally you would have had some experience in the mobilisation of projects and ideally have a client-side project management skill set.
Your communication skills will allow you to liaise at all levels, from government entities down to subcontractor level.
