Finance Officer – Ballarat Position:
gforce is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join a leading workwear and safety retailer in Ballarat. This role can be part-time or full-time.

Role Overview:
The Finance Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and facilitating clear communication with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Handle data entry, accounts payable/receivable. Perform reconciliations, including bank, credit card, petty cash, and supplier statements. Prepare financial accounts up to the trial balance stage and report BAS and PAYG to the ATO. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and state payroll laws. Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports. Liaise with stakeholders, external accountants, and government regulatory bodies. Assist with additional financial tasks as required. Essential Skills & Experience: Qualifications and/or experience in bookkeeping. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Xero. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Knowledge of accounts receivable/payable and basic payroll principles. Values & Attitude: Respect for diverse backgrounds and cultures. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Willingness to learn and adapt. Salary:
