Join one of Australia's largest logistics fleets as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic in Tomago, Newcastle. We are seeking Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to work at our Tomago workshop on either day or afternoon shift. This role is to service the local Toll Divisions and may involve the opportunity of "off site" field service work in the Newcastle area. It is important that you can work unsupervised and are able to work through problems to come up with a solution. Key Responsibilities Diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, diesel systems, auto electrical, and hydraulic repairs in accordance with requirements detailed on job cards All general servicing tasks and repair tasks on all vehicles Coaching, mentoring, training of Apprentices, Trades Assistants, Work Experience etc Maintain quality and urgency in the work performed Operate in compliance with the NHVAS scheme Skills & Experience Proven experience in a similar fleet workshop-based role Possess a Heavy Diesel Mechanic Trade Qualification HR License advantageous Previous diagnostic investigation experience Be a team player, open and honest who consistently delivers an exceptional customer service experience Ability to work unsupervised Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environment About Toll People Toll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
