We are looking for a Bus Driver to join our team. We have a casual opportunity available that includes being available for weekend work.
What you will bring to the role as a Bus Driver:
The ability to transport residents and other passengers Willingness to obey all traffic laws to ensure passengers arrive to their destination safely Proactively maintaining a clean and mechanically sound vehicle at all times Strong understanding of client centred, community based care The ability to follow safety, quality, and hygiene standards Assisting passengers with getting on and off the bus as needed Assisting with loading and unloading wheelchairs on the bus Local knowledge of the area highly regarded Knowledge of correct manual handling procedures A sound understanding of aged care and the principles guiding this sector Current Light Rigid NSW Drivers License or willingness to obtain Excellent communication skills, and willingness to follow instructions Demonstrated commitment to work professionally as part of a team and also with minimal supervision Benefits and perks

The successful candidate is required to have completed/have a willingness to undertake the following:
Vaccinated in accordance with UPA's Immunisation and Vaccination Policy (including proof of the required doses of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine and annual influenza) Undertake a National Criminal History Check Pre-Employment Medical Assessment NDIS Clearance Appointment is subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks.
