Job Overview Our client is looking for a Buyer to take full ownership of product selection, development, and supplier management. You'll be responsible for building commercially successful ranges that balance trend, quality, and profitability.

Reporting to the Head of Buying, you'll need a sharp commercial eye, strong supplier relationships, and the ability to spot trends before they hit the mainstream.
What You'll Be Doing: Building winning product ranges – selecting shapes, fabrics, and styles that hit the sweet spot between fashion and commerciality. Driving sales performance – monitoring bestsellers, moving quickly on reorders, and making the tough calls on underperformers. Owning the critical path – ensuring products land on time, on budget, and at the right quality. Negotiating supplier deals – working with manufacturers (including a China-based sourcing team) to secure the best pricing and terms. Understanding the numbers – applying retail metrics and sales data to back your buying decisions. What You'll Need to Succeed: A background in fashion buying, with at least two years as a Junior Buyer and a clear progression from BA > AB > JB > Buyer. Garment construction and fabric knowledge – you need to know what makes a product work, not just how it looks. Commercial instinct – the ability to balance trend with reality, knowing what will sell and what won't. Strong supplier management – able to push for quality, negotiate hard, and maintain strong vendor relationships. Data-driven mindset – comfortable using Excel, Google Docs, and retail maths to make informed decisions. Why This Role?
