About the Role:
In this key role, you will report directly to the CEO and Director, overseeing all aspects of the group's financial management. You’ll ensure the accuracy of financial information, prepare comprehensive reports, and implement strong accounting controls. The role involves a variety of responsibilities, including preparing financial statements, managing reconciliations, handling monthly and yearly tax processes, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
You'll be responsible for:
- Preparing detailed financial reports for senior management.
- Overseeing end-of-year processes such as PAYG summaries, work cover, and compliance audits.
- Ensuring cash-flow stability, preparing annual budgets, and managing insurance claims.
- Keeping the group’s financial records accurate and up-to-date, with a focus on regulatory compliance.
About You
- You are a detail-oriented and experienced accounting professional with a passion for excellence.
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in accounting or business and CA/CPA qualifications.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the construction industry.
- Your communication skills are strong, allowing you to engage with stakeholders at all levels with clarity and confidence.
- Driven and proactive, you excel at streamlining processes and maintaining accuracy and compliance in financial matters.
