The opportunity We are looking for a motivated individual to join the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services team. Working within scope of the BDA Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR) Part 145 Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) approval, as an execution focussed Responsible Manager providing program focussed governance over aircraft maintenance and operating activities to support multiple aircraft platforms at the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base Amberley, South East Queensland.
Responsibilities Within your assigned aircraft program, govern aircraft maintenance execution activities to ensure conformance to the terms of the BDA Maintenance Management System (MMS) and suitability of staff, processes, data and material.Manage continual improvement of program and contribute to corporate elements of the MMS.Execute delegated Continuing Airworthiness Management responsibilities.Provide leadership, and promote a safe and healthy work environment.Experience/Qualifications Have the ability to achieve Chartered status in an applicable area of practice through Engineering Australia.Demonstrated experience with assessment, support and oversight of a technical workforce in an aviation maintenance (or demonstrably similar) environment.Current or previous experience as a Part 145 Responsible Manager is highly desirable.Sound knowledge of the Australian Defence Force MMS is highly desirable.Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.High level of written and verbal communication skills.Ability to build relationships and influence decision-making by senior leaders.About us The Boeing Company offers a wide range of career opportunities; as a Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) employee you'll be a part of the world's leading aerospace manufacturer of commercial jetliners and military aircraft.
