Aged & Disability Support (Community Services & Development)

Join our diverse team as a Care Services Worker and embrace an exciting opportunity working in our stunning historic village in Mount Barker. This casual position plays a pivotal role, prioritising the well-being of our residents above all else.
We are seeking a motivated person to make a positive impact and become part of our close-knit team, as well as embrace the chance to be a source of support and comfort for our residents.
Reporting to the Regional Care Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Supporting and assisting Home Care recipients with activities of daily living, including mobility, continence management, showering, dressing, personal grooming, and medication prompting.
2. Assisting with meal preparation where required.
3. Provision of domestic and laundry services to care recipients.
4. Transporting care recipients to appointments (e.g., medical).
5. Providing social support and shopping assistance.
We’re on the lookout for someone with:
1. Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent).
2. Full Driver's Licence, Comprehensive Insurance, and Reliable Transport.
3. National Police Check (or ability to obtain).
4. First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain).
5. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
