The City is seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager of Asset Maintenance to take charge of our diverse maintenance operations, from civil works to building management, parks, and gardens.
This is your opportunity to make a significant impact on the community by ensuring that our city's assets are well-maintained, efficient, and sustainable.Position Overview:As the Manager of Asset Maintenance, you will oversee the development, budgeting, design, management, and implementation of the City's civil and building asset maintenance strategy.
This includes the maintenance and renewal of essential infrastructure such as roads, parks, gardens, and buildings.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team, including Operations, Parks & Gardens, Engineering Services, and Building Maintenance, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional service delivery.Key Responsibilities:Leadership and Management: Lead and support a diverse team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high performance.
Ensure effective communication across departments, driving successful program delivery.Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies for asset renewal and maintenance, ensuring cost-effective operations and the successful completion of projects.Financial Oversight: Develop and manage budgets for maintenance projects, ensuring alignment with City priorities.
