Based in Eight Mile Plains, we are looking for a talented Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you'll help design and deliver leadership and human skills development programs for employees across the country.
About the Role: As an L&D Specialist, you'll collaborate with colleagues across L&D and Talent Development, as well as key business partners, to create and deliver training programs that address both current and future capabilities.
A key focus will be enhancing the onboarding experience for new hires, while also playing a leading role in the leadership development of emerging and frontline leaders within our national operations.
By networking with Sodexo's regional and global teams, you'll create locally relevant programs, utilizing your experience to improve and redesign leadership content. This is a hybrid role, permanent full time 38hrs per week, Salary $98,700 + super. Key Responsibilities: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on program decisions and outcomes Support the implementation of Group and Regional training initiatives, serving as the local point of contact for L&D Work closely with the National Head of Function to ensure training aligns with Group strategic goals and HR objectives In this fast-paced role, you'll build valuable relationships across various functions, working closely with Sodexo's operational leadership team.
The goal is to ensure our employees, especially our frontline leaders, are fully supported and equipped to excel in their roles.
Who We're Looking For: You're an experienced L&D professional who is skilled at developing, delivering, and evaluating learning programs.
You thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on, and collaborative environment and enjoy engaging with people across all levels of the organization.
Experience in a similar L&D role, particularly within industries such as mining, civil, or facilities maintenance, is highly desirable.
You'll also need a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and expertise in instructional design and delivery, whether face-to-face or virtually.
You have excellent communication, presentation, and training skills, and the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities.
Additionally, your ability to coordinate logistics and plan learning events will be essential.
