About the Opportunity
As a Retail Customer Service Officer, you'll play a key role in helping Australians service their own businesses, keeping millions of people connected and building community resilience.
Role Details
* Paid training for 12 weeks, Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week, various shifts
* Permanent Part Time position working 25 hours per week: 5 hours per day between the hours of 8.45am-5.06pm
* Relief team members will be assigned shifts at various Post Offices within a specific area
Your Responsibilities
* Perform customer sales and service transactions with customers
* Manage high value transactions accurately (handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS)
* Conduct and process identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews
* Promote our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising and other promotional activities
* Assist customers with mail lodgements and associate costs
* Build rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs
* Assist with administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance
About You
* You're friendly, enthusiastic and reliable
* You love working in a team environment
* You have experience in customer service and/or cash handling
* You're fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift
