Empowering People In Communities – Karratha WAEmpowering People In Communities (EPIC) is a not for profit organisation that offers disability support and community services in the Pilbara and Goldfields.Our aim is to empower clients through a range of services that support many people to live a more connected life through community.Location:KarrathaWorking Hours:Monday to Friday - 8.00am to 4.00pmOpportunity:Empowering People in Communities (EPIC) Inc. are seeking a passionate enthusiastic individual that can coordinate and case manage the delivery of core supports that empower our participants in the community to live their best life as independently as possible.Duties and Responsibilities: Work in the Karratha community with assigned clients and families to develop and implement person-centered NDIS support plans that align to goals and funding with an aim to deliver high quality individualised services.Provide leadership and guidance to Support Workers to ensure supports are implemented as per the developed NDIS plans.Ensure rostering and scheduling of services is logistically sound and effective within the NDIS plan funding.Conduct supervision and annual performance reviews for all Support Workers.Maintain client data integrity to meet organisational and contractual compliance through the use of our information platforms.Contribute as required to the reporting process.Participate in the On-Call service aligned to a rotating roster.Develop and nurture strong relationships with all stakeholders to promote EPIC in a positive way within the community.Conduct, attend and contribute to all one-on-one and team meetings as directed.Work within EPIC's policies & procedures to deliver professional, safe, and effective service delivery.Undertake any other ad hoc tasks as directed by the Client Services Manager.Demonstrated ability to maintain absolute confidentiality of client information.Demonstrated value of respect for people with a disability.High level of verbal communication skills.Evidence of working as a positive team member with a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated values commensurate with those of EPIC.These include reliability, trust, consistency, being proactive and supporting inclusion for people with a disability.Ability to use required IT rostering applications.A current First Aid Certificate, or the ability to obtain one within three months of employment.A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance, or ability to obtain.A valid WA "C" class driver's license or equivalent overseas licence accompanied by a valid temporary visa.A valid Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain.Experience supporting people with a disability in a professional or informal capacity and/or demonstrated values commensurate with those of EPIC.Previous experience as a line manager.Knowledge of NDIS Quality and compliance requirements and guidelines.Cert IV in Community or/and Disability Services.Why join the EPIC Team?
