The Role
We’re seeking a Head of Product to join our Global Streaming Platform (Commerce) team, in a newly created role focusing on Offers and Subscription workstream.
Reporting to the Director of Product, we’ll look to you to conceive, define, design, develop, test, and launch highly effective enterprise level subscription and offer capabilities at a global scale.
What you’ll do
1. Develop a strategy and prioritize a roadmap for subscription services and promotional offers within the commerce back-end
2. Envision a product capabilities set that can establish commonality among disparate propositions and flex to ever changing market needs and propositional shifts.
3. Use data insights and stakeholder intelligence to drive prioritization, hypotheses, and product plans.
4. Vigorously defend your strategy and roadmap to stakeholders at every level of the organization. Be an expert in your product’s insights and KPIs.
5. Collaborate with other product leads and engineers to successfully deliver products to market with your team with a focus on measurable outcomes and consistent optimization.
6. Produce high-quality requirements, strategies and work product. Push relentlessly for quality while meeting aggressive deadlines.
7. Plan and build scalable and extensible products and tools.
8. Lead and mentor others, providing strategic direction, thought leadership, and inspiration to product managers and members of the wider product team.
9. Collaborate closely with executive leadership to align subscription and offer strategies with overall business growth objectives.
10. Implement subscription and offer strategies on a global scale, considering diverse market dynamics and behaviors.
11. Ground strategies in industry best practice, competitive landscape and emerging technologies.
12. Establish a cohesive point of view on capabilities relative to partner capabilities that are likely to be part of the domain.
What you'll bring:
13. You’ll be an experienced product leader with a proven track-record of end-to-end ownership and delivery of platform level products — in particular, deep understanding of subscription models and promotional offers within a commerce domain
14. Confident and experienced in leading teams of Product Managers, whereby goal setting and coaching is one of your strongest abilities — acting as a force-multiplier, building product teams and growing talent.
15. You can navigate multi-layered, matrixed organizations through your deft communication, attention to detail, systems thinking and relationship building. You are creative in driving teams to deliver, influencing leadership and you believe building rapport and earning trust is an important investment in success.
16. You enjoy thinking big and crafting visions but have the technical chops to talk architecture and help your team creatively solve deliverability challenges.
17. You have relentlessly high standards, deep operational knowledge, and expertise in every aspect of digital product development and e-commerce.
18. You have an established set of product development best practices, and your own experience-based methods to define product vision and requirements. You are comfortable coaching your team in these methods and deploying them to solve challenges within the team.
19. You have used OKRs and/or KPIs to define north stars for your team and set team goals. You are comfortable providing guidance to your team. You are on a constant hunt for the next insight to drive roadmap prioritization.
20. You are resilient — focused, driven, and the natural owner of both big ideas and practical daily output — and feel most at home in a fast-paced, iterative, and collaborative environment.
