About you:
You are a qualified Physiotherapist with advanced level of knowledge, expertise, professional judgment, and clinical skill in the provision of complex contemporary evidence-based physiotherapy practice as an advanced musculoskeletal physiotherapist (general, post operative orthopaedic and orthopaedic trauma). You can provide advanced level counsel to relevant stakeholders to support strategic, organisational, and quality patient care goals and you are competent to provide expert training and guidance to all level clinicians within the multidisciplinary team and physiotherapy department.
Your opportunity:
The Advanced Physiotherapist General Outpatients position will provide expert diagnosis and case management of patients with complex musculoskeletal conditions (which also includes post operative orthopaedic patients, orthopaedic trauma, and general outpatients for chronic conditions) referred to Physiotherapy General outpatient services. This position (will contribute to the development and strategic direction of General Outpatient Physiotherapy for the CHHHS, in addition to being a resource for all General Outpatient physiotherapy services across the region.
Your role:
1. Deliver advanced general outpatient physiotherapy clinical and consultancy services across the CHHHS.
2. Deliver advanced level Physiotherapy clinical services including assessment & examination, treatment, diagnosis, prognosis, and case management for clients referred to the physiotherapy general outpatient clinic) in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
3. Specialised knowledge and skills in general outpatients (include patients from aged 12 onwards)
4. Apply an advanced level of independent professional judgement, utilising evidence informed practice, to address clinical problems within a complex and critical service of significant scope, including the provision of clinical advice to clinicians operating at satellite / spoke service centres as required.
5. Recognised expertise, knowledge and skills are obtained through significant professional development activities, post-graduate education or formal qualification(s).
6. Contribute to the development and governance of clinical practices, procedures and protocols that support the continuum of care with reference to best practice and clinical evidence.
