Signal Processing Engineer (C++ Embedded)

We are seeking a highly skilled Signal Processing Engineer, who will be responsible for the critical development of our sonobuoy systems product space, with a specific focus on our network/RF systems. This role requires a broad range of technical skills encompassing software/hardware integration, and will involve a mix of algorithm development, physics, and mathematics. Our products are used globally, and the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the company's continued success.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in algorithm/math/physics, with expertise in the following technical skills (in priority order):
• Embedded systems (host software device control) experience
• RF systems hardware knowledge (VHF, UHF)
• Real-time processing (on Linux) experience
• C++ design and implementation skills (product code bases)
• Laboratory equipment experience, including oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, and signal generator
• Network understanding/experience (distributed systems over Ethernet)
• Hardware testing process familiarity
• Python experience (simulation/test frameworks)
• Linux experience (application programming/deployment)
• Windows experience (application programming/deployment)
Eligible candidates must be Australian Citizens and able to obtain NV1 clearance.
