An ASO5 position is available for permanency in the Government Business and Coordination Team. The Government Business and Coordination Team provides support to Access Canberra divisions on whole of government issues and on issues with a whole of Access Canberra impact. The team is responsible for managing all government business and processes around Cabinet and Assembly and Annual Reports amongst others. The team is also responsible for providing Secretariat services, including to the Gambling and Racing Commission Board. We are curious about each other’s work and always ask “who else needs to know?” The ASO5 Government Business and Coordination Officer is responsible for: coordinating Cabinet and Assembly business and associated liaison with Access Canberra Executives and the Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate (CMTEDD) Cabinet Office; coordinating ministerial correspondence and briefing with some drafting as required; coordinating Freedom of Information requests across Access Canberra. The Government Business and Coordination Officer will assist with other administrative tasks as required (see position description for more details).
