Job Description About the Opportunity: We are excited to announce that Acciona has been awarded a major wharf infrastructure project at Port Hedland for Pilbara Ports Authority. This marks the first stage in the development of the Lumsden Point General Cargo Facility and Logistics Hub (LCGF), a transformative multi-user facility designed to: Enable the export of critical minerals. Support the import of renewable energy infrastructure. Facilitate the import/export of general cargo. Accommodate the import of bulk liquids such as fuel and chemicals. To help us deliver this project, we are looking for a Quality Manager to take responsibility for the implementation and management of the quality management systems and processes. The successful candidate will be required to work in Port Hedland on a FIFO basis on a two week on, one week off roster. Key accountabilities for the position: Manage the quality management plans and systems across the project ensuring traceability from production to commissioning. Perform regular formal internal and external reporting and auditing on quality systems and processes. Ensure the management and security of all soft and hard copy documents for the project. Liaise with all key internal and external stakeholders to ensure process consistency across all levels. Provide advice where required on formal responses pertaining to NCR's and other defective items. Manage the as-built process ensuring all project records related to construction work are up to date and compliant. Required Skills and Competencies Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field. Demonstrated experience in a similar role (ideally within complex civil infrastructure) Excellent understanding of quality management system tools Demonstrated experience in the development and maintenance of document management systems. Well-developed communication, problem solving and negotiation skills. Proven in the development, coaching, and mentoring of staff and sub-contractors.
