Your role
As Relieving Registrar, you will provide relief across West Southwest court locations.
As a Court Registrar you will be responsible for ensuring delivery of high quality and professional administrative support to Judiciary and Courts, in addition to leading teams in the provision of high-quality service to clients and other stakeholders.
A Relieving Registrar is expected to work across a variety of roles in a court registry.
What you’ll do
Leading the team, you will be responsible for:
1. Managing, developing, and motivating staff in a fast paced and challenging court environment
2. Work across a variety of court locations, building rapport with many different staff members
3. Adapt to being in a variety of different places and roles in multiple court locations
4. Implementing procedures and training to ensure staff are adequately equipped to ensure best practices and standards are provided to clients
5. Constantly implementing processes and procedures which are always up to date with legislation
6. Dealing with staff issues and providing feedback or counselling to staff
7. Adapting to work in different court jurisdictions
8. Promoting a positive working environment that values ethical behaviour and good performance whilst meeting statutory and administrative obligations.
9. Undertaking some quasi-judicial or other statutory functions such as LEPRA applications or conducting call-overs.
What we’re looking for
A current Australian driver’s licence is essential and regular travel including consecutive overnight stays are required.
Candidates with experience leading and managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
