Their products serve numerous dosing and dispensing applications within commercial cleaning, laundry, food service, industrial, irrigation, horticulture, animal health, and other industries.The RoleReporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing strategy, and nurturing and managing new and existing clients. You will have strong sales skills, a strategic mindset, and a drive to succeed, and you will use these skills to develop initiatives to drive incremental sales growth and ensure that the business is a market leader in the Australian and New Zealand commercial chemical dispensing sector. The job is hybrid and includes travel across Australia and New Zealand to current and prospective customers. You will be rewarded with a generous salary package, including a monthly car allowance and an incentive scheme.DutiesThe Regional Sales Manager will specifically focus on strategy and sales, and you will coordinate efforts with all other areas including Marketing, Manufacturing, and Finance to manage projects, support customers both commercially and technically, and grow sales.Develop and implement a strategic business plan which will lead to incremental sales growth across Australia and New Zealand.Take a strategic and informed approach to the implementation of route to market models and regularly use goal setting, tracking, etc.Perform market analysis to monitor competitor actions and behaviours, understand the impact of changing business conditions and remain proactive in defining actions to mitigate any potential impacts.Assist the line manager to identify strong acquisition candidates that offer a significant opportunity for growth within the Region.Share strategies, reports of wins and successes within the region and globally so they can be replicated.Assist with the development and setting of sales and marketing budgets, KPIs and targets for the region.Establish ties with relevant higher education providers, industry associations, and trade groups, and attend trade shows.Skills and ExperienceExperience in the chemical dispensing and dosing solution sector is essential. Proficient in all levels of the sales process: prospecting, strategy development, quoting, negotiating, and closing an opportunity. Willing to travel (drive and air) up to 50% of the time (predominantly within Australia and NZ). A strong internal and external customer service ethos. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly organized and efficient in approaching tasks. A self-starter, who is able to work autonomously, with the ability to problem solve. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technically with end-users. Strong work ethic and commitment to winning the right way.
