Our Corporate Tax team provide tailored advice and insights for every aspect of the corporate tax process, helping our clients to manage business-specific tax challenges such as tax audits, international tax issues, corporate governance obligations, and mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and deal structuring.This is a genuinely caring, supportive team who will value your individual contribution. Your capability will not only be recognised and rewarded, but also nurtured throughout your career milestones.Key responsibilitiesPreparation and review of company tax returns for a wide range of clientsResearch and assistance with tax consulting advice (such as tax consolidation, tax treaties, hybrid mismatches, controlled foreign companies, withholding taxes, thin capitalisation, permanent establishments, Division 40, etc.)Research and assistance in preparing advice and calculations in connection with various tax issuesResearch and analyse technical tax issues and preparation of tax reportsAssist clients with ATO reviews, governance matters and auditsWorking with the ATO to obtain rulings for clientsAssistance with preparation of tax effect calculationsSkills and experienceUniversity degree in a related discipline, such as Accounting / Finance, Business / Commerce, Legal and / or relevant professional qualification(s)Australian corporate tax experience within a professional services environmentGood understanding of taxation of entities in Australia and basic understanding of taxation mattersUnderstanding of basic tax effect accounting calculations to determine tax liabilitiesAnalytical skills and an inquisitive mindset, with a desire to deeply understand clients’ businesses, challenges and confident in applying knowledge to routine mattersDemonstrable strong work ethic and commitment to excellent client serviceRemarkable perks that put you first :Flexible working options availableSupport to undertake CA or other postgrad studyStructured learning and development at all career levelsFully funded gym membership | Health Insurance discountsAnd many more!
