About The Role We're looking for a passionate, friendly and organised super star to join our team. This role is a permanent part time position and is frontline. So, we are looking for someone who is friendly and has an empathetic personality. We are a small team and you will work closely with the clinical staff, reception staff and practice manager. You must have great customer service skills and ability to multitask, we may be small but be sure get busy.
Duties Will Include, But Not Limited To Meet and greet patients Manage phone enquiries and schedule appointments Ensuring the reception, waiting room & consult rooms are presentable & restocked Ensuring medical records are managed confidentially and efficiently Liaise with all team members and external companies for care requirements General administration duties – scanning, emailing, mail, banking etc. Collection and entering patient details into the system Participate in quality improvement activities Scheduling monthly Medication chart bookings for aged care residents Training requirements for professional developments Participation in staff meetings Supporting the whole team to ensure a smooth running of the practice Reporting requirements – To the Practice Manager Essential Criteria Medical or Dental reception experience preferred Must provide a current driver's license Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisation and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience with Best Practice Software is preferred Ability to work as part of the team Willing to obtain a NDIS clearance Willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check Desirable Current First Aid Certificate Medical Terminology Cert 3 Business Administration or Cert IV in Business What You Need To Do Now Yackandandah Health Medical Centre looks forward to welcoming you to our passionate and dedicated team and we hope to thrive together into the future.
