With over 4,000 projects delivered in over 50 countries across 20 different commodity types, we are the trusted advisor to resource companies, financial institutions, equity investors, and government agencies.Our service delivery is across mine advisory, feasibility and mine optimisation studies, engineering and asset management, project services, safety, health & risk, and decarbonisation.About the roleOur growth to date has been through our track record and our long standing relationships with our existing clients where 80% of our work is repeat or referral work – we now want to broaden our exposure using social media and digital marketing initiatives.As a Marketing Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of our brand's voice. You'll collaborate closely with teams to develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns and communication strategies that tell a genuine story. You have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our brand, crafting compelling content for various channels and coaching our team through integrating business development with sales and marketing. Developing a marketing plan will be an integral part of your approach in consultation with the Executive Team, which will give you experience working with C-suite.We are looking for the right person to lead us through a new horizon to increase our exposure to potential clients across key local and international markets. This role is initially for 6 months to assess the impact of this new role for us, and based on deliverables would then be considered as a permanent role with us. We are also open to this being a part-time job to meet the right candidate's needs as long as they are comfortable to work flexibly with us.About youA qualification or relevant experience in marketing, communications or a related field.Proven work experience creating content across various formats combined ideally with demonstrated experience or understanding of marketing and social media in a professional services/consulting business.Understanding, knowledge or interest in the mining industry combined with the ability to ask the right questions and build the bridge in your knowledge to understand our services, our clients and our story.High level of written and verbal communication – able to take technical engineering information and turn it into pithy marketing presentations/creating compelling content.High end user of LinkedIn who understands how to use this platform to improve brand awareness. High energy to persuade others to come on the journey and participate in developing technical and thought leadership articles. Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.Some experience with Canva, Photoshop, Publisher, PowerPoint and a proven ability to work with graphic designers to coordinate marketing graphics/brochures.To complement their own skills, the ideal candidate will be “in the know” - aware of various “experts” in marketing areas to elicit support where required to supplement and support key initiatives when required.Interested?Our focus is on finding the right fit for this role.
