About the Project
The Olympic Dam Mine, operated by the largest mining company in the world, BHP, is approximately 550km North-West of Adelaide, mining copper, gold, and uranium. Redpath commenced a new contract in July 2023, providing Shotcreting, Cablebolting, Batch Plant services, and Fleet maintenance. As one of the largest contractors on site, you will gain valuable experience to help grow your maintenance career in underground mining.

The role involves
Working shift work on a rotating roster (14/14, 12-hour shifts) as part of the maintenance crew, you will be maintaining a new fleet of Agi trucks, Cablebolters, Normet Shotcrete rigs, Toyota Landcruisers, and IT Carriers. These roles duties will consist of but not limited to:
Maintaining mobile and fixed plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations;
Ensuring all repairs are completed in a timely manner and to a high safety and quality standard;
Fault finding, repairing, and/or replacing components as required;
Identifying and managing potential risks.
We are looking for
Demonstrated experience working on underground hard rock mobile plant equipment
Mechanical and auto electrical knowledge;
Able to pass a National Police Check and Pre Employment Medical;
Current First Aid/CPR certificate or ability to obtain prior to commencement;
A positive work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto, Consider it done — safely.
