An exciting opportunity exists for an Oral Health Therapist Team Leader to provide leadership, operational management, professional advice and support to the dental and oral health therapist workforce within a local oral health team with a high degree of independence that supports continuous improvement of service delivery.
Oral Health services are provided to patient groups that meet the eligibility criteria for accessing public dental services in Queensland.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
1. Use well developed oral health therapy clinical skills within your scope of practice to deliver high quality oral health therapy services and oral health advice to eligible clients.
2. Undertake oral health therapy practice of both a complex and routine nature including where principles, procedures, techniques or methods require modifications with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.
3. Accurately and concisely record all patient interaction as well as workload measurement data to facilitate the analysis of service trends by Senior Managers and the Consultant Oral Health Therapist. This includes reviewing local work team clinical data to identify quality improvements at a local and service level.
Remuneration value up to $12,731 p.m., comprising salary between $4769.60 - $5132.40 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Fixed term temporary full time 6 months with possible extension) Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy.
