There’s opportunity around every corner and the support to help you achieve your goals.About the role:This role focuses on managing local, import and export operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating the movement of highly specialised radiation-generating devices and ancillary equipment and components. As a critical link between our demand planning, procurement, warehouse, and production functions, the Logistics Coordinator will work collaboratively across the team to streamline supply chain activities and ensure the efficient flow of goods. The role is full time and is based in Chrysos’ Adelaide facilities.What you will do:Import and Export Operations – Coordinate end-to-end import and export processes, including freight arrangements, customs clearance, and delivery schedules, ensuring seamless integration with demand planning and warehouse operations.Vendor and Supplier Management – Manage relationships with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to secure timely and cost-effective logistics solutions.Inventory and Shipment Tracking – Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory, coordinating with regional teams to ensure timely delivery.Regulatory Compliance – Ensure all import/export activities comply with local and international trade regulations, particularly those governing radiation-generating devices and hazardous materials.Documentation and Record Keeping – Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and required permits, ensuring alignment with procurement and demand planning documentation.Process Improvement – Identify and implement opportunities to enhance supply chain processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Stakeholder Communication – Serve as the primary contact for logistics inquiries, providing timely updates to internal teams and external stakeholders.Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with demand planning, procurement, warehouse, and production to align logistics activities with business needs and production schedules.Team Support – Act as a backup for demand planning and procurement functions by analysing inventory levels and placing purchase orders to maintain adequate stock.Who you are:EssentialDiploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics coordination, with a focus on import/export operations in a technical or industrial environment.Strong understanding of Australian and international customs regulations, and freight management.Familiarity with supply chain functions, including demand planning, procurement, and warehouse operations.Permanent residency or citizenship (or equivalent working rights).DesirableFamiliarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP or Oracle, and inventory management tools.Australian Customs Broker License (or equivalent).Training in Dangerous Goods or Hazardous Materials Transport.Who we are (Our values):Safety is a Non-Negotiable - Safety isn’t just a value—it’s our way of life.
