In this position, you will report to the Manager, Asset Management and be responsible for a diversified Credit Portfolio, working closely with our customers seeking mutually beneficial outcomes, exploring financial assistance options and maintaining credit facilities in arrears.
In the role you will: Assist members with various forms of Financial Assistance, including the establishment and maintenance of tailored Hardship Agreements and Simple Arrangements, managed across various types of credit facilities, savings accounts and Portfolio Queues within the Debtor Management System, CRM, and Core Banking System (CBS).Provide expertise on specific enquiries by offering solutions and alternatives when practical.Ensure timely progression of delinquent loans across all key milestones and stages of the enforcement process (as applicable and necessary), ensuring ongoing adherence to regulatory requirements and related Credit Control Policy and Procedures.Monitor accounts in arrears and overdrawn accounts to ensure that the correct action is implemented to guarantee that future repayments are met and the reoccurrence of delinquency is minimised.Reduce delinquency by rectifying arrears, by transferring and restricting member access to accounts.Initiate, follow up, and distribute funds from claims.Action credit-related tasks in accordance with Credit Control Policy and Procedures, working closely with team members, internal and external stakeholders to consistently meet all business requirements.Qualifications About you You're a caring and customer-focused person excited to learn and grow.
