Strategic and Business Excellence Manager / Finance Business Partner - Automotive

We have a vacancy for Strategic and Business Excellence Manager / Finance Business Partner, who would support EVP and CFO in financial data analysis, reporting, forecasting, M&A activities, presentations for the board, strategy implementation, and various initiatives in support of future business growth.
You will be reporting to the Executive Vice President Operations, South Asia & Japan, and the CFO. Your key responsibilities will entail the following but are not limited to:
1. Support the preparation, review, and monitoring of financial performance reporting, forecasting, scenario analysis, benchmarking, and other ad hoc research and analysis as required by management.
2. Provide backup and support to the regional FP&A function in 4 regions when required.
3. Liaise with regional GMs, Finance Managers, and other stakeholders to gather data and information to prepare comprehensive business cases, analysis, and business insights.
4. Mentor and assist with training and management of the back office finance function.
5. Assist with statutory compliance requirements and implementation of group policies while ensuring adherence to the group corporate governance directives.
6. Present financial performance, analytics, and insights in a concise and clear manner with the use of skilfully crafted data visualisations, including creating presentations for the Executive Team and for the Board.
7. Support EVP in implementation, driving, and tracking of various strategic initiatives across the business units.
8. Assist with M&As activities and special projects by providing financial and commercial deal insights, financial models, scenarios, and analysis.
9. Support planning, execution, and delivery of the acquisition-related projects, including data review and analysis, coordination of internal teams, and liaison with various stakeholders as required.
10. Assist with successful integration of new acquisitions, management of PMI plans, and post-merger support for all key stakeholders.
The successful applicant will have the below qualifications & skills:
1. Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
2. Recognized professional qualifications to CPA/CA certification or equivalent.
3. 7 years+ experience in an executive financial management role, with a proven track record of delivering results to strategic and operating performance criteria.
4. Ability to manage internal and external business stakeholders.
5. Experience in developing proposals and professional presentations for senior management.
6. Understanding of Financial Statements, as well as key accounting and financial concepts.
7. Strong Analytical and Research Skills.
8. Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and drive performance metrics.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
10. Exceptional time management skills with the ability to handle multiple workstreams and tight deadlines.
11. Experience in mergers and acquisitions and post-merger integration activities.
12. Experience in Big 4 accounting firms (PWC/EY) would be an advantage.
