About the Role The role is fixed term fulltime until 30 June 2027. The Project Officer will work as part of a high performing team responsible for delivering both complex policy projects and rapid policy advice. This includes the development of project plans, preparing briefings and correspondence for Ministers and executives and supporting the development of robust advice, often in tight timeframes. Please click here Position Outcomes /Accountabilities Contribute as part of a team to the development of complex projects and policy advice related to the building industries. Undertake research and prepare timely, accurate and evidence-based advice and insights on complex issues to support the development of high-quality Cabinet submissions, briefings, meeting papers, presentations and correspondence, consistent with key policy objectives that is suitable for its audience. Contribute to the identification of emerging issues and ensure appropriate responses, including risk analysis and the preparation of reports for consideration by executives and key stakeholders. Provide high quality project management support to contribute to the effective delivery of projects related to the building industries. Qualifications and Experience Knowledge of building regulation and/or relevant regulatory schemes and energy transition issues An understanding of program and project management tools and a demonstrated ability to apply these in a pragmatic and fit for purpose way.
