We are also proud to be a member of the Diversity Council Australia.What We Offer At AdicaA considerable discount on motor vehicle insurance for you and your family.14 weeks Paid Parental Leave for all parents + super payments for both paid and unpaid leave, up to 52 weeks.A Wellbeing Program for all staff.Events and initiatives to enjoy throughout the year.Reward and recognition programs including company-wide Excellence Awards.Access to an Employee Assistance Program 24/7, available for you and your family.Flexibility with work location – we offer hybrid working to work from home and in the office.The Role & The TeamThis role is based in the Brisbane to Gold Coast area, working from home and on the road, supported by an experienced team of motor assessors and reporting to the Assessing Team Manager – Northern Region.This opportunity will see you:Inspecting damaged vehicles by either electronic or physical assessment.Establishing market value for total loss claims and ensuring that salvage transport and WOVR requirements are met.Reviewing third party demands and advise the claims department whether claims are fair and reasonable.Resolving customer enquiries in respect of repairs and monitor repair cycle times.Supervising work in progress and ensuring quality of repairs.Industry training will be provided to ensure you stay up to date with industry developments and technology and may require travel to our Melbourne based head office twice per year.You will also have an opportunity to be a part of our national catastrophe claims management team and management of dealer hail claims which may require interstate travel.Your Skills & ExperienceIt's essential for you to:Be a Code Approved Assessor (either: 5+ years' experience as a panel beater, spray painter, motor mechanic; or 5+ years as a motor insurance assessor; or Certificate IV Vehicle Loss Assessing Course).Have previous experience in motor assessing and the estimation of vehicle body repairs.Have the ability to self-motivate, work autonomously and within a team.Have strong communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.Have a current driver's licence.Whilst not essential, experience using Estimage (Stelvio) and experience using Microsoft Excel will be highly regarded.Apply Now:If you're keen to join Adica and be a part of our team, please apply now making sure you provide a cover letter and CV.
