About the role:
As a Timber Mill Hand, your primary objective will be to carry out all duties relevant to the processing and milling of raw materials into finished product as directed by management.
Responsibilities include:
1. Complete all aspects of mill operations as directed by Management
2. Complete customer orders
3. Merchandise material as advised and present to specific areas for further processing
4. Complete all processing of materials to fulfil orders including processing, sorting treating, packing and movement of material.
5. Check invoices/dockets as required with contractors and transport operators in order to ensure all orders are correctly loaded and unloaded
About you:
6. Ideally you will have Timber Mill or relevant industry experience
7. You will be comfortable operating production machinery and equipment.
8. Physically fit due to the demands of the role.
9. Excellent communication skills to ensure clear and concise information is presented to the team.
10. Forklift licence and wheeled loader experience would be an advantage
11. Moderate skills with MS Office applications.
12. Driver's license, Forklift ticket, truck license an advantage.
13. Blue card & NDIS Screening card or willing to obtain.
14. Fit2Work clearance is mandatory (at your own expense).
