Service Overview:Clarity Health Care is an accredited mental health service delivering a multidisciplinary, responsive program offering care to people with any form of mental health concern or mental illness. Our mental health programs offer psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers and registered nurses. More important than discipline, is the individual skill of the senior mental health clinicians we employ. Evidence based care is delivered through outreach services, clinic based appointments, telehealth and group programs, based on clinical reasoning and need. Due to the design of the workforce at Clarity, collaboration and continuity of care is core to the delivery of the treatment, with the recovery model and bio-psycho-social model being the grounding principles of all care.Position Summary:The Psychology Clinical Supervisor at Clarity Health Care will play a critical role in improving the clinical practice in Clarity Health Care. The role reports into the Chief Medical Officer and would be based in Fitzroy.Our Values:Our values have been selected by our team:Purpose drivenIntegrity and honestyInclusive and person centredContinuous learningAccountabilityRespectReporting Line:This position reports to the Chief Medical Officer Key Performance CriteriaClinical supervision:Provide clinical supervision of students, provisional psychologists and psychology registrars, on average 5-6 per day.Clinical Leadership & Care:Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while promoting clinical excellence.Maintain an operational risk register and contribute to the Strategic Risk register.Undertake and monitor a range of clinical quality and safety performance indicators / audits.Monitor patient safety indicators and implement clinical risk mitigation strategiesMonitor patient outcome measures and support implementation of evaluation strategiesEnsure that clinical incidents, adverse and sentinel events are investigated and reportedContribute to clinical policy developmentProfessional development:Provide professional development and training for the broader Clarity team.Service Expansion & Innovation:Develop and implement strategies to expand clinic services and generate additional revenue streams, focusing on sustainability and long-term growth.Be involved in business development discussions with the CEO and CMO.Compliance & Governance:Ensure the clinic adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements, particularly in line with Victorian Mental Health regulations.Maintain high standards of clinical governance and operational compliance.Minimum requirements10+ years of clinical experience, with significant expertise in the mental health sector.Deep knowledge of the Mental Health regulatory environment and clinical governance best practices.Hold board approved supervisor accreditation.Proven experience working with high-risk and complex patient populations.Approved tertiary qualifications enabling registration with AHPRA and the relevant professional body.Medicare eligibility requirements met (if applicable).Skills & Competencies:High level of computer literacy and proficiency in relevant clinical and business software.Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams and mentoring clinical professionals.Demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions related to clinical operations and business management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both clinical and executive teams.Other Requirements:Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.Recent criminal records check (within the last 12 months).A valid "Working With Children Check" (mandatory).
