The Senior Sales Engineer is a technical consultant who will support our Data Security/Application products and solutions, and work closely with the sales team to advocate Thales solutions and deliver the business target assigned.

Discover and qualify customer's business and technical requirements, and propose suitable Thales cyber security solutions to address the customer's objectives.
Serve as a technical advisor and subject matter expert to customers, and guide them on security best practices and industry compliance, and support customer's digital transformation success with Thales security solutions.
Collaborate with the wider Thales CSP team (Marketing, Channel, Business Development, etc) to advocate Thales CSP products and solutions.
Prepare technical proposals and solution architecture documents for customer projects and tenders.
Conduct technical workshops, training and demonstrations for customers and partners, and enable customer knowledge and adoption on Thales security solution.
Gather customer feedback and collaborate with product managers regarding product enhancement.
Support customer POCs and deliver installation and configuration support when required.
Support partner product integration testing and certification training.
YOUR EXPERIENCE To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience: A degree in a computer-related field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Systems Analysis, etc.)
or a similar discipline.
At least 10 years' experience in IT, ideally in IT Security, working in a pre-sales or consultancy capacity in a technical customer facing role.
Strong knowledge of the Defence, Intelligence Community, and Federal Government domains.
Proven experience in a technical solutioning and architect role, having partnered with a sales team on delivering IT security solution success for large customers and organizations.
Strong knowledge of database query and cryptographic standards including PKCS, JCE and PKI.
Strong knowledge of Application Security.
Knowledge of public cloud services is a plus.
Sound experience and domain knowledge of database activity monitoring, database firewall, data protection technologies inclusive of encryption solutions such as database encryption, file/OS and VM encryption, PII tokenization/anonymization, data loss prevention, PKI, etc.
Knowledge on DevOps environment and secrets management is a plus.
Able to prioritize and deliver technical solution support for customer opportunities in timely manner.
Strong presentation skills to advocate Thales' solution value and differentiators in front of senior stakeholders and executives.
